ARTIST PROFILE

In my twenty-four year career as an artist, I have created a wide variety of artwork and enjoy wherever a challenge takes me. I have a Masters Degree in Illustration from Syracuse University. I am currently working on the illustrations for children's picture books. I have been blessed with five very different picture books that were written by different authors. The third book, I'm Nocturnal, How About You? will be released Feb. 15th and books four and five are "in-th-works"!
With the wonderful subject of adoption, my first illustrations were for "When I Met You; A Story of Russian Adoption", published in 2005. This picture book, written by Adrienne Ehlert Bashista. This book serves as a dialogue for adoptive parents. "When Flamingos Fly", written by Maureen Piano, was published in 2006. It is a fantasy journey with an amazing flock of flamingos that travel to the Wonders of the World. And, just released in 2008,the nonfictional "I'm Nocturanl,How About You?", written by Jennifer Sy-Heger, is a great introduction to the wonderful animals of the night!
Please check out some of these illustrations in my portfolio and link to the web addresses in the News & Links to learn more about each book.
